Hi,

I was wondering if there was a way to have a report in Access formatted to
resemble a table. Basically I want to generate a report that resembles the
datasheet view of a query, but incorporates a header and footer. I also
would like the user to be able to publish this report in Word without the
formatting being lost. Any ideas? Thanks.

Karen,

If you use the report wizard to build your report, with no grouping, tabular
view, and border style as solid on your information, you could make it look
like a table or data sheet view of a form. You may have to do some creative
formatting but I think it will work.

I tried this but I do not see where to change the border style to "solid". I
looked under the report's properties and for border style saw the options,
thin, none, sizable and dialog.

Karen,
if you click on the actual text boxes the border style should be there.
