format & partition slave hdd

Ho there,

I just installed a 200GB Maxtor hdd as a slave to my main hdd running
Windows XP Pro/SP2.

I used Disk Management to format it but I get no options to partition it. I
cannot right click and create new folders, all I can do is use it as a giant
floppy using drag-n-drop. When it formatted it came out as 'Simple' Layout
and 'Dynamic' Type with NTFS.

How can I format and partition it to be usable as a regular drive albeit
I'll be using it for storage?
In other words "what did I do wrong?"

With xp pro you can create a dynamic disk,and/or create partitions by going
to run,type:cmd In cmd typeiskPart For all options type:HELP You should
go to:http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windowsserver2003/
proddocs/entserver/d... Although the topic is server 2003 and a mirrored
system,the related topics are the same in xp.
