Format in HTML-Emails destroyed

Hi all

A client of mine uses an Exchange Server. Whenever I receive an Email
message from one of the clients employees the Email arrives in my Email
Client in text format. Any pictures included in the Emails are referred to
something like this: [cid:[email protected]]. The link points
to nowhere. This happens only if the sender is using Email in HTML format.
When they use the RTF format the Email arrives nicely.

Once my client deletes my Contact within the Exchange server and the users
send me an HTML Email and enter my Email address manually, the Email arrives
nicely too. With format HTML or RTF.

I even changed my domain host since I thought that the problem would be at
my providers side.

Any of you guys have experienced something like that before and would be
able to point something out to me?

Thanks for any help
Martin

There is a possibility that the Exchange Server is overriding the internet
format setting of the client.
When your put your email address into an email, if they right-click your
name and choose properties it should say what format to send it in. Plain
text, Rich text and HTML.

If they delete your email address from the server and manually enter your
email address using the same process is it different?

On the Exchange Server in Exchange System Manager / Global Setting /
Internet Message Formats. Right-click default select properties. Message
Format tab. what is shown?
Advanced tab what is shown?

On the Exchange Server's active directory users and computers
Selecting your name from the GAL and choosing properties
What is the setting on the Exchange Advanced tab for use MAPI rich text
format?

These may point you to the right direction to look into
