Form with tabs duplicating

I created a tabbed form. The first tab is duplicating itself under the
following forms which happen to be subforms I am bringing in to the main
form.....I have checked properties to see if there is something obvious there
- does anyone know why this is happening? If I delete the underlying fields
in the subform sheets the first tab deletes also......any help out there?

What do you mean by "following forms"...
If my response is incorrect, please provide more detail.

If your saying that the controls on the first tab1 appear on all tabs,
not just tab1... Whenever you place any control on a tab
(text control, subform, chckbox, etc..) that specific tab has to be
"selected" at that time.
But... the controls must be copied and pasted onto that tab
while it's selected, or... the fields can be dragged onto the selected
tab from the Field List.
If you don't follow that procedure, the result is that the controls
are actually still located on the main form, and they will show
through on all tabs.
