Form - question

Hi,

With the help of a lot of great people here, I nearly have a nice website
built for a girlfriend. I want to add a form, and actually have it working,
but want to add some sort of double check that would email the person who
signs up for the mailing list, telling them to do something if they really
want to be signed up. If they do nothing, they will not be added to the
mailing list.

Could someone please help me figure out what the next step is? I am using
FrontPage2003. GoDaddy.com is her host. I have FP Extensions installed.

Here is the form itself, as simple as it is right now -

Thank you,
Brenda

The FP forms handler can not send to users email
- You either need server side scripting or check if godaddy supports an auto responder (sends automatic response to the person
sending email to a web email address at your site)

I did receive this response, but I need help in deciphering it. I would
like to follow up and get some kind of response back to the person who is
attempting to sign up to the mailing list -- to verify that they do want to
sign up, and that it is a working email address.

Thank you,
Brenda

Thank you for contacting Online Support. Our hosting accounts support coding
for auto-response to forms; although, we do not provide technical support
with third-party scripting issues. However, if you are are using a method
other than the mail() function in your PHP code, please use
relay-hosting.secureserver.net as your outgoing relay server to send email.
If you are using the mail() function in your PHP, you do not need to specify
an outgoing mail server.
