Form print - not print drop-down default?

I have a form containing drop-lists for choosing a value when filling out a
form. I would like to print a blank form to be handwritten if necessary.
Is there a way to not print the drop-down default?

You could make the first item in the dropdown list a blank (containing a
single space).
