Form Linking to Email

I have a "Contact Form" on the "Contact Page" of my website,
www.hunterimmigrationparalegals.com, and when clicking on the submit button,
nothing happens. Clients are completing the form, submitting it, but it does
not go anywhere. I am the owner of the site, not the creator. The form is
supposed to be completed, submitted, and be directed to my email. This used
to be set up to do just that and a "Thank You for Contacting Us" message
would appear in the email box of the form filler before my website creator
changed the design of my site a few months ago. Since then, she is not
responding to emails to fix this problem and I need to get this corrected
myself. What steps do I take to get this done? I am not FrontPage savy so I
need specific instructions. I know I first need to copy my website to my
hard drive but don't know how to do this either. I have already posted a
question asking how to do this so I can make changes to the site. Thank you
for your invaluable help.

You need to change the form's properties

Your conct form is acuallly a serate page which is displaiedn in lline
using IFRAMES
Open your web sote with frontpage
(open http://www.hunterimmigrationparalegals.com/ )

Then in folder view, look for the file contactus01.html and doivl click
it to open.

The form contains the subnit button and other form fields and is
delineated like a rectangle with dashed lines.

Right click anyhere within the form and chosoe form properties. Make the
chnges you want and click OK.

Then save the page.

Thank you very much. I will try that. I am first having problems
downloading my site to my hard drive. Once I can get this problem niched, I
can then do as you suggest to make sure the form is transmitted to my email.
I am losing business because clients are calling asking why I did not respond
to their email and I never received it. So your help if very, very valuable
and I appreciate it. I'll let ya know if it works o.k.

According to http://www.hunterimmigrationparalegals.com/_vti_inf.html your site has the FP 2002 SE and you should be able to open it
w/ FP as a Site (not a just page)
- If it doesn't open in FP have your host repair / reinstall the FP SE of verify your FP user ID and Password

In FP use File Open Site and enter http://www.hunterimmigrationparalegals.com/ and log in
Or in IE use File Edit w/ FP and log in (do not hit Cancel or you will just get a page)

Thank you for your help. The hosting company has reset my password and
reformatted my FP extensions I think. I'm not sure about all of this
computer language. Anyway, I opened up my site in FrontPage and have looked
at the "Contact Us" form. It appears to have the correct email address where
I need the form to be submitted. What else do I need to check to make it
work properly?

Also, since the hosting company did their do, now when I click the submit
button from my contact form, it shows a message but does not transmit. Can
you look at that forme and tell me how to correct from this point? Thanks a
lot.

Contact your host to verify they have Email Transport enabled and allow sending mail to an address outside of their server
