I've created a simple form, with Text Form Fields (TFF) and Tick boxes -
these have all come out OK. I'm trying to get a TFF for "Name" and a second
smaller TFF for "Ref. No". on a single line. I've tried columns, but that
dosn't seem to help. With a big gap between the "Name" and the TFF, if I try
to squeeze these up the TFF jumps to the left of the "Name" - Any suggestions
please ? I've found that using Print Preview is very useful for adjusting the
size of my fields!

Try putting your fields in a table with fixed size cells.
What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." For more
about online forms, follow the links at

Chapman's series of articles.

Hope this helps,
