Form fields in IE 6.0

Using IE 6.0 to browse the net I am having problems with
text fields and drop-down menu's. Operating on Windows XP
pro, for example on the ebay website, if I select Search,
on the search page none of the text boxes appear where you
are meant to enter your words to search for. On this
website in the techincal database I wanted to do a search
for this, but on the first page there are several drop-
down mneu's where you are supposed to select your OS, etc,
all the menu's were blank and just opened up as blank
white boxes. Whats causing this and how do i resolve it?

Use View Source to determine how the menu is implemented.
E.g. is it just simple HTML, something controlled or generated
by Javascript or something implemented by Shockwave Flash?

If you're not sure you could probe the implementation Black Box fashion
by using options from the Internet Options dialog to change the way
the page is rendered. E.g. request prompts when Scripting or ActiveX
is to be used, change default colors and fonts and disable overrides
(Colors, Fonts, and Accessibility dialogs), etc.

If you are having trouble at a public page post a link and include
a description of how you are using it.
