form fields in 2007

I am creating a form in Word 2007. I can't get teh font size to change just
for the form fields. Any suggestions?

Also is there a way to get it so the form field background is not gray?
People will be reviewing this on the screen not a printed page.

You can apply font formats to the form fields specifically. Also, note that
form field shading is not toggled with the usual field shading option but
rather with the Shading button on the Forms toolbar.
