Form Field Update Error

There is a form field that continually comes up with an error stating "Field
Cannot be Updated!". If you click on OK several times it goes away and allows
you to enter data.

I have checked the Default Record Locking and it is set to No Locks. Under
the design view field Data tab 'Locked' is set to No. In other words I cannot
find a reason why this field will not allow data entry. Nothing in the table
or query is set up to block this.

Have yopu tried entering data into the query the form is based on.

Do you get the same error. If you do then post the sql so people can look
at it.

I do not get any type of error when entering the data in the query.

We've tried copying and pasting other fields and renaming them and it will
work for one try, but as soon as you attempt to go to a new/different record
you get the same error message. You can click OK on the message box and after
about 8-10 times it goes away and you can enter data, but the message - again
- comes back as soon as you go to a different record.
