form duplicate button won't work

entries. Before the upgrade to 2003 access there was a duplication button
that worked to create a copy with all the information from the current form
into the next form. I could then change only the entries that were
different. This form has so many places to enter data that my arm will hurt
if I have to fill field every time.

How can we get the duplicate form button to work?

You would have to tell us what you mean when you say it does not work. Does
a new record open? Do you get an error? Do any of the fields copy? What
does your code look like?

We'd need much more information to give you an answer.

Hi, Rick B. Yes the form is duplicated but then the duplicated form will go
to the first "date" to enter and instead of what you type in a 1 or 0 is
where the / should be. Like 012206 will be 1/2212006 and it will not accept
that. Changing the way we enter the date or properties of the date doesn't
help. Some adjustments have allowed us to by pass this date only to get
stuck with the same problem at the "time", and the next "date" then it will
return to the orriginal date and refuse to accept the date entered.

well that problem is now solved. Oracle is now the database for the State of
Ca's road closure information. Trash the Access database with the form that
did not work after upgrades to 2003 office. I love Microsoft software but
sometimes but I am very glad to be rid of that access database.
