forgot passwords

I am trying to help a friend who has some how locked himself out of his
windows 2000 machne by forgetting all of the passwords for all user
accounts, including the built in admin account. Is there any hope of
getting him back in the machine like this? MTIA.

It seems your friend needs to adjust his approach to
safeguarding account names and passwords...
