Forget the Administrator password

Got this xp machine in which the user A has limited rights. I cannot access
as the 'Administrator' and now it will not allow me to try as I have exceeded
the # of tiies. Now how can I get access to the Administrator apart from
reformatting the pc.Thank you.

Have you tried leaving the password blank?

Already tried leaving it blank and it does not work. Now reading the article
'Offline
NT Password ..." seems a bit confusing to me but will try. Thank you all for
your time.
