Forever login

When I attach any of my XP Pro machines to either of my domains, they take
forever to log in when logging into the domain. If I change the login to
the local machine, it happens quickly. I know the servers and the network
are not the bottleneck because my Win2k Pro workstations login just fine.

Any help is appreciated,

Hi Scott,

I had this problem once, took me awhile to figure it out anyway try adding
the server's IP address into the DNS. It should login faster after this.

Like James said, most definitely a DNS issue. Make your server a DNS server
if it isn't already, and set your workstations DNS entries to this server.
That should sort it.
