I have a Technet subscription and I am trying to exceed the Windows XP
activations. I was told by Microsoft that the products keys in my technet
subscription would allow 10 activations and that the activation is tied to
the MAC address. I have tried over 30 times and each time the product
activate successfully. I am using VPC and each time I create a new Virtual
Machine it appears to generate a new MAC address. I am not sure how to
exceed the activations so I can document the user experience.
p.s. what I really want to do is create a VPC image of XP that will not work
until a user enters a valid product key and activates.
Thanks
