Forced Picasa

W

Walter

This morning I awoke to discover something called Picasa
had taken over my computer's browser. Anyone else been
invaded? I seem to have fought it off for now by deleting
every folder it added to my favorites, the two Picasa
status bars I don't want, the install file, pop-ads
galore...and the meanest of all, the picasa bar has a
google search button that when you hit it, refers it to a
Picasa search.....I seemed to have fought it off..but it
seems quite persistent so I don't know if the coast is
totally clear...

Regards,

Walter

P.S. I am not so sure...another pop-up ad, despite my
stopper just popped-up. ugh.

Google for 'remove picasa' and also try adaware and spybot
