Forced attachment blocking philosophy

The unsupportable position expressed by William Kennedy is an insult. To say
that blocking certain file types has cured the outbreak of global virus
attacks is absurd. Especially in light that such blocking in Outlook Express
can be overridden(as it should be) and it is BY FAR the most heavily used
email client in the world. Blocking attachments has caused me untold amount
of grief and man-hours of "rework".

And the blocking of attachments has SAVED me untold hours of grief and work.
