Can someone please explain why -o - why we have to retrain 'Blocked Senders'
every time Outlooks 'Junk Email Filter' is updated? Surely by now there has
been numerous complaints by Business and end-users alike. So why has
Microsoft Office not set up a backup and re-install data for this folder? its
not as if its a opptional folder its a part of your SECURITY.

Your list of Blocked Senders gets emptied after each junk filter update?

In OL2003 (you didn't mention *your* version), go to Actions -> Junk E-mail
-> Junk E-mail Options -> Blocked Senders tab.

I've received numerous junk filter updates. My list of Blocked Senders has
never gotten cleared by these updates.
So why has Microsoft Office not set up a backup and re-install data for
this folder?

You actually have a folder in the tree list of your message store that is
named Blocked Senders? Outlook maintains a *list* of blocked senders, not
a folder. If you see a folder, you or some other program created it.
