force users to logoff

In our AD we have selected the option under Security
Settings\ Local policies\ Security Options\ network
security: Force logoff when logon hours expire.

But it seems that when our users come in the next day, and
unlock there desktops they were not logged off. They can
go about there everyday business. This means that the
users are not logging off at night thus not getting our
updates in the morning.

I assume that I'm missing something somewhere. I have the
typical work hours setup for 6AM to 8PM. So after 8PM
everyone should be kicked off the network.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I went through this too, what happens is it does not
really logoff them off, it only disconnects their drive
connections.
