I think I'm going crazy. I have been trying to force the use of
Ctrl-Alt-Delete for logon for a new PC running WinXP Professional. The rest
of our company's PC's run Win2K Pro. I've read where all you have to do is
go to User Accounts, select the advanced tab, and in the secure logon
section, select the approptiate box as detailed here:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308226&Product=winxp

The only problem is that there is no advanced tab when I select User
Accounts! Any idea what's going on?

Logon as an administrator; open User Accounts and click 'Change the way
users log on or off'. Remove the checkmark from 'Use the Welcome screen'
and click Apply Options.

Start>run>type control userpasswords2 and enter will get you the tab you're
looking for to force ctrl-alt-del for logons.
