for Clustering Do we need to have both member server?

Hello,

i have win 2000 adv server,
i want to do the clustering between the 2 servers
do we need to have both the servers are member server to a
domain?
i have 1 doamin server and another one is member server
for that doamin. is it work for the clustering or i need
to have both servers are member servers

Verifying Domain Membership

All nodes in the cluster must be members of the same
domain and able to access a domain controller and a DNS
Server. They can be configured as member servers or
domain controllers. If you decide to configure one node
as a domain controller, you should configure all other
nodes as domain controllers in the same domain as well.
In this document, all nodes are configured as domain
controllers.
