Just when you thought all web browsers were equal(ly boring). Make Windows
XP the experience it should be with Firefox, now 1.0.7.

1.5 beta is out too and finally with some nice improvements.

Using 1.07 ...Too many install problems with 1.5 beta from their forum so I
will wait.

FF is really good but they need to improve on how the program makes updates.
Seems to mess with a lot of users profiles etc...should be a seamless and
easy procedure like IE. Also if 3rd party extensions don't keep pace they
get lost in the rush!

Hi Bill.
I haven't experienced any upgrade problems for several years.
Admittedly, 1.5 will mean some plugins need to be re-written and this
will be a minor inconvenience.

Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 (Deer Park) can be downloaded for testing. The final
version will be released later this year. Thunderbird 1.5 Beta 1 is also
available for testing.
