Footnote spacing

Does anyone know how to put spacing between the footnote and the text?

Example: 1 This is some text

I've tried modifying the style but it does not work. When I select footnote
text and go to numbering, one there is not numbering scheme selected, which
means I can go to Customize and select tab space after.
