Footnote Numbers for Each Chapter. How to get them?

I want to renumber footnotes in each chapter beginning with footnote number
1. I may be stupid, but I do not know how to avoid getting the numbers for
chapter 2 in sequence with 1, etc.

You do not seem to be talking about a form in Microsoft Access.
