Footer Box is Missing

When I click on View Header/Footer I can see the Header Box, but I can't see
the Footer Box and I NEED to type something in. How do I fix it.

What happens if you click on the Switch Between Header and Footer button on
the Header and Footer toolbar? If this doesn't place you in the footer pane,
then the document is probably corrupt; see
