Any good freeware for managing football pools? I know it's a little late
in the season to ask that question, but it will come in handy next year. :-)

Only freeware I ever found after much searching was Football Grid by Nova
Tech. Of couse, the season's over and you'll have to wait until about August
this year to download the 2005 schedule. I used the 2004 version over the
course of this season and was impressed by it.
Don't have the url handy but a google for Football Grid or Nova Tech will
get you there.

Try this site:
www.4horsemen.com

they also have a online version as well. The software is freeware.

I have used both to manage football pools.
sometimes they are a little slow on getting the software out before the
season, But it's the only site that I have come to rely on for the past
few years.

A sugestion is that you download this years pool and play with it. This
group has not changed the way it works in ages (why change a good thing).

I know this thread is very very old, but as I was looking for the same info recently, so I figured I would post my findings in case anyone else is looking for the same thing.

I've been using Five Star Office Pools to run my survivor pool this year. The website is: 5sop.com. It's free, unlike most of the alternatives, and it works pretty smoothly.
