Font too large in menu boxes

I re-installed XP due to a my disk was inaccessible after
a power outage. Now when I open an IE window, the text
size is too large in menus, mail, etc. I'm constantly
changing the "view" "text Size" command to modify text in
my mail so it's readable. However, menu box fonts
constantly remain too large (annoying!)

Control Panel Display does not allow only has "Large"
and Larger, no smaller.

I're read that I need to insert a font command in my
system.ini or wini.ini file, but don't want to break
anything (OK you can tell I was a computer sales guy and
not a techie).

Can anyone help?

Hi John,

What video driver are you using. Try changing video resolutions and see if
the fonts stay the same.
