Font Size on Internet

Randy Whitten

Hi ..

I just purchased a new computer and moved up fom Windows
95 to XP. I noticed that the font on some sites such as
MSN and Hotmail is much smaller than what I've been used
to. I've tried to make the print larger by clicking
larest fonts and that only seems ot affect some web
sites. Can someone explain how I can get the proper size
font size on Hotmail, etc that I'm used to seeing on
Windows 95 and 98?

1. Go to: Tools - Internet Options - Accessibility. Choose (click): [Ignore
font sizes specified on Web pages]. Click [Ok] - [Ok]
2. Choose: View - Text Size and select font size you like.

If you have a wheel mouse, you can change the font size in
Internet Explorer by holding down the Ctrl key and scrolling the
wheel.

Note that this works in most applications, not just IE.

IE | Tools | Internet Options | General tab |
Accessibility button | Ignore font sizes specified on web pages |
OK |Apply | OK

[[Specifies whether you want Internet Explorer to always use the default
font size you choose. You can set the default font size on the General tab
by clicking the Fonts button. If the author of a Web page chooses a
different default font size, the settings you choose here will override it.
You cannot change the size or color of graphics.]]
