Font size not retained

Hi all,

My problem is that IE 6 will not retain the font size after a restart. It continually defaults back to "Medium." I prefer to keep my font at "smaller" so I can fit more text onto the screen. However, despite my efforts of continually going view-text size-smaller, IE will not retain the setting. I just recently re-formatted and clean installed XP home edition and am current with all the windows updates. Can anyone tell me if they've had similiar problems?

If IE-View-Text Size does not stick....

---solution 1
If you are using Eudora 4.2 or greater then use Tools-Options-Viewing
Mail and uncheck "Use Microsoft's viewer"
It is Eudora that is setting the IE text size and unchecking that
option will stop it.

The key that Eudora 4.x will change is this:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\International\Scripts\3]
"IEFontSize"=hex:02,00,00,00

In Outlook 2000 go to Tools/Options/Mail Format/Fonts/International
Fonts, and for each font
change the "Font Size" entry to your desired size.

I am not using Eudora or Outlook 2000. Neither are installed on the computer.
