font size in some applications are too small

windows xp
font size for several application programs are not
readable. Just happened in the last 2 days. example is
reading microsoft comunity newsgroup list is too small.

I have gone to display and adjusted font size to be
large. Affects lots of the fonts but not on fonts on
some incoming applications like the example above.

Any help???

Try using System Restore and using a Restore Point (Start button/All
Programs/Accessories/System tools/System Restore, Restore my computer to an
earlier time option) for 3 or 4 days ago, or a Restore Point as close as
possible before the problem began).
