Font size in Reading pane

Need to change the font size in reading pane. I've gone to My Computer and
changed the res to get to the desired size, but most things still appear too
small, even the font in this window I'm typing in... They were doing
something with the Server yesterday at work and now today my setting are all
awry, including my carefullly arranged desktop icons- they are all in nice
rows!

Tools>Options>Mail Format>Fonts.

Tried that, everything is smaller. I don't think it is isolated to Outlook,
but at the same time Contol Panel>Display>Resolution doesn't get me back to
where I was yesterday. Everything is just a bit smaller. So far my best fix
has been to slide my monitor closer- real high tech fix huh?

Changing the Reading Pane font size can't help but make it larger except for
HTML messages in the Reading Pane.
