Hi Gang,
Can someone help me?
I have Microsoft Student with Encarta 2008. When I install it I cannot see
the licence agreement but I continue with the installation because I always
agree with Microsoft licences. The program installs to near the end, when the
programs brings a pop up that says that I do not have sufficent permission
for installation of the fonts. Then a similar pop up that says that says it
cannot register the type libraries. Is there something that I can do or
should I give up?
Thanks for anybodys help!

If you are not logging in as the PC administrator, then permissions on
the PC are drastically reduced. Log on as the administrator or with
administrator privileges and try again.

Hi BOB I
I am the system administrator and there is only me registered on this PC.
Any other ideas?

Um, do you have an anti-virus program running, or maybe something like
Ad-aware, some of those programs will prevent "unusual" changes that
will occur during installs of some software. Disable them until the
install is complete.

It doesn't matter who YOU are. Remember the maxim: "Reality is what is
reported to the system."

Who does the computer think you are?
