Font problem

Hi, How do i get rid of shadowing effect on all
font/text. Have been thru all properties that I can find
but seem unable to resolve. I'm starting to go boss
eyed!!

R-click My computer, Properties, Advanced, Performance "Settings"
button. Visual Effects, Uncheck "Show shadows.........."

Thanks. have already done this, does not make any
difference. I also have shadowing on all text on task
bars and other buttons.

Have you resolved this yet? I am seeing the same problem on a system I'm
working on.
