Can't get rid of shadow line when printing

I have been trying to get rid of shadow line when
printing. Never had problem before. Occurred while wife
was using publisher to develope brochure and now it
prints all documents with shadow. Have tried every place
I know to change this. Fonts are TT so can anyone help me
