I am using Vista Home premium and have the following problem.
I am using Comic Sans as my preferred font, and Western European
International settings.

When I type a ínverted comma' the first one seems to come out as an
áccent'in, say the 'French'language.
älso" happens when I use the double comma? This sentence is the example!

Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Is because of the preferred font
I have chosen or something else that I have overlooked to change.

Regards Thistledown.

Do you have an 'International Keyboard' -- some of those keyboards work like
old typewriters where you could key in the accent and then the letter and
the keyboard wouldn't move in between. I had an 'International Keyboard' at
one time and it was installed as such and behaved the way you mention.

Try configuring your keyboard as a standard keyboard. Hope this solves the
problem.
