font color change help

Hi

I have a powerpoint file which everytime i open has white text on a whte
background when i change the color on the master slide and on the show
slides to blue its ok close and save the changes and then re open it and you
guessed it white text again, The only thing i can see odd is that a font is
showing in the Asian Text font that i dont have installed however i have
changed this to arial on the master slides and still i get white text. Any
help appreciated.

Look at your color scheme. Probably you have "background" and "text" both
set to white. (Changing the color on the master background doesn't change
the color scheme.)
