When I open the screen and bring back from hibernate, sometimes the font
changes to a slightly larger, a little blurry font. DPI is set at default.
system restore fixes problem until the next time I open it up. Don't like
system restore, so ......how can I fix this and make it stop?

I had this for a while, turned out to be the video drivers. Updated to
newest ones and it fixed my problems.

This was with an integrated ATI card BTW.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

Sorry, I am incorrect, I got this issue after I updated to the newest
drivers from ATI. I corrected it after getting the newest drivers from my
laptop manufacturers site, Dell in my case.

TBH I have got it running right now and am pretty reluctant to update to
newer drivers, I am going to wait for them to go through a few more
generations and iron out the still irritating bugs some of them have.

Thank you...but....My Dell is only one month old. The driver listed on the
Dell site was issued 1-07. I downloaded it anyway but it didn't fix the
problem. Now.....Restore is failing and I'm stuck with a blurry
font.......kind of like safe mode was.........really frustrated now.

FIXED!!!!!!!
Dell support took control and easily moved a slider in the appearance
window. Thanks for your help.
