Follow-Up In OL 2003

If I right click on an email and select Follow-Up and select a time & date
is it designed to function in the same way as if I assigned a Follow-Up to a
Task and assigned a time & date? Thanks.

Yes. note that the message needs to be in the inbox for the reminder to
fire.

Thank you. Is there a way to move the message out of the Inbox and still
have the reminder fire?
