Follow up flags in Business Contact Manager

How do I assign a search folder for business contact manager (BCM) for
"follow up" based on the follow up flag.. Surely that is the first question
one would ask i.e. 'what do I need to do next?'. I get a message saying 'BCM
does not support this function'!

Am I missing the point here?

What is the desired end result for this?

You can manage the sales process through the Opportunity feature.

Thanks for responding to my post.

I really want to prioritise my work and follow up individuals sometimes
through an account and sometimes through a contact.

I find the opportunities a little inflexible (I am selling consultancy
services) but it may be I need to reconsider this approach. In general terms,
I make lots of phone calls (to account/contacts) and then I want to know when
I said I would call back, send documents off etc.

Did you ever get a better response to this?
I thought the point to the follow up flags was that you would get a reminder
pop-up. This is what I am trying to accomplish, however I am not getting the
pop-up reminder to follow up with someone.
I'm am wondering if there is something that I need to turn ON for this
feature to work. Otherwise, what is the point of the followup?
