how do I set a follow up flag reminder for an outgoing email and receive a

Bcc yourself and set a flag on the incoming message.

Outlook 2007 will make this a much, much easier process.

It is a tricky solution. However that means that I will have the same mail in
my sent items as well as the in box, which is not what I'm aiming at. What
I'm aiming at is to send the email to the recipient and follow up on the due
date. Is it possible? Thank u

Since you want reminders, then you either need the messages in the Inbox or the Reminder Manager tool from http://www.slovaktech.htm. Or wait for Outlook 2007. Take your pick.
