Folders view: how to set default

When I view folders through windows explorer it displays as a list. This is
the default I have set. When I try to do a save or a save as the folders
display as thumbnails. How can I set it so the folders are set to the list
view in any window?
Thanks.

Open a folder and have it set exactly as you like. From the menu at the top
click Tools>Folder Options. Click on the View tab. Adjust anything you like
there and then click the button at the top that says "apply to all folder".
Apply/OK out.

It is completely unnecessary to use a third-party program to do what is
built into Windows.

I've asked this question a lot lately. How is it possible to be so dumb,
Malke?

I guess your fellow MVP Keith Miller (Author of FVM) is a spammer!

It is well documented (Google Groups) that I accept correction gracefully
when I am wrong. It is unfortunate that you felt you needed to resort to an
ad hominem attack instead of pointing out my mistake, but I can understand
that your feelings were greatly hurt by my mistaking your posting those
links in more than one thread as possible spam. I was completely at fault
for not checking out the links first and so I offer you a most abject
apology.

As for my stupidity, I can only say that I'm sorry for it also. You can
avoid reading my stupid posts easily but I won't insult your intelligence
by pointing out how.

Again, I apologize for mistaking your intent and hurting your feelings. You
needn't respond; I certainly understand how one would be reluctant to
engage in discourse with such a stupid person as myself.
