Folders to open in View/list

How can I get all folders to open in View/List, except Control Panel rather
than as icons?
 
Open a folder in My Computer, set the view to List, click Tools, Folder
Options, View, Apply to all..........
 
Thanks so much, Bob I. I knew it could be done but had forgotten. Believe
me I tried.
