Folders Settings

Hi guys seem to be having some folder problems, sometimes I will open a
folder and the icons will be small, then I will reset them to medium and
next time they will be small. Also folder size, I like the folder big and
again next time I open the same folder it will be small and I have to expand
it and resize to my needs again. I have been into folder options and
clicked apply to all folders and I have also closed the folder from
file/close as I believe that helped but still nothing

help please
