When trying to open a shared volume on a Windows XPpro
PC (Pentium 4 3GHz, 1GB memory, NTFS on a 20GB
partition) from a networked PC (tried Win98 as well as
Win2000 as WinXP-PC's, peer to peer TCP/IP network), I
always get the error message "not enough storage space on
the server to perform this operation" (translation from
Dutch message 'onvoldoende opslagruimte op de server
beschikbaar om deze opdracht uit te verwerken'); there is
plenty of free space on the drives.
I can see the shared drives on the computer, but not open
them. The required permissions are set as necessary, to
my knowledge. Communication from that PC to the 3 other
ones is no problem: I can open any drive/folder on the
other networked PC's and copy files to them.
