Folders change from Icons to Details

Guest

I have created some folders in my Windows XP desktop, placed some shortcuts
inside them, and configured the shortcuts to be vewed as Icons.
Sometimes, inexpectedly, when I reopen these folders I see their shortcuts
as "Details" and I have to change their configuration to "Icons" again.
Have anyone any idea why this happens and how so fix this problem?
Thanks

Open My Computer > Tools > Folder Options and select the View tab.
Click > Apply to All Folders, click Apply & then OK.
In Advanced make sure this is ticked > Remember each folder's view
settings.
