Folders bar open by default in My Computer

Hi

The Folders Bar is always open by default every time I go into My
Computer/Windows Explorer.

Please tell me how to turn this off, as I have to do it manually every time
as I like to use the "System Tasks", "Other Places", "Details", etc, sections
that show down the left when there's no Folders Bar/Seach Companion/etc on.

Thanks

Just noticed this only happens when I go into My Computer/Explorer using the
Windows key+E shortcut. If I double-click My Computer or go Start > My
Computer it opens as normal, as I want it.

But it's annoying as I use the Windows key shortcut most often.

After changing the registry setting indicated in my site, the other things
that are affected are:

1. When you right-click the "My Documents" / "My Pictures" icon in Start
Menu and choose "Explore", it executes "open" instead (single pane view)
2. When you right-click a "folder shortcut" and choose "Explore", it
executes "open" instead (single pane view)

Apart from that I don't see any other side-effects. Also, I seldom use the
above methods to open / explore folders.

Does that affect _only_ Win+E, or does it also affect any other means
of exploring folders, such as double-clicking a folder or folder
shortcut?
