Folders: "Arrange Icons By" is always wrong

How do you customize the "arrange icons by"-option in a folder/subfolder so that XP
always sorts the icons by name? Every time I open a new subfolder from different programs I'm having trouble
finding the files I'm looking for because of wrong sorting/arrangement.

I would like ALL my folders to ALWAYS arrange all files by name? How can I do this?

Open up any folder, set the View to what you prefer, make sure you've
selected Arrange By Name and that everything is applied to the window you're
currently viewing. Then click Tools > Folder Options > View, and click
"Like Current Folder". This will set every folder's view to the exact same
as the active folder. Also, make sure "Remember each folder's view
settings" (on this same page) is unchecked.
