Hi...
Remember in Windows 2000 we can use open a folder, say My Document and
then if there's a song or a movie, we select them and you can play them in
the folder on the left corner... can i do the same thing in XP???

Thanks
Carl

Carl;
Yes you can. I am not sure of all the details. But, for example, if
you have pictures in your My Pictures folder, you can View as a slide show.
Also if you have music files in My Music folder or another folder setup
for music, in the common tasks pane, there is an option,under Music Tasks,
for Play All.
I have not looked further, but I would assume the same would apply for
movies.
When you create a new file (or any file for that matter) you can right
click it and click Properties/Customize tab/Use this folder type as a
template: Music, pictures and video to name a few.
Hope this helps. Let us know.
Wes
