Folder Views

I wish to set some folders with a detail view, and some with icons view.
Windows will hold the settings for awhile, but all folders revert back to
detail view after restarting WindowsXP. I've checked the box in "Tools >
Folder Options >View" to remember each folder's view settings, but the
settings are not remembered. Any suggestions?

Hi Greg,Run the edit on line 2 left hand side "increase
folder limit size to 8000" at this site.

By default XP will only retain around 400 folder views
this registry edit changes that to 8000.Thanks Kelly!
